You are one of 2 bus lines in Cuba. The better one, I thought.
My 1st trip, I was surprised when you turned out all the light and even the personal little ones and prevented me from reading. I was alarmed at your insistance to keep the air condistioning at full blast until you felt like you were inside a travelling refridgerator.
But seriously, when I wait at 2 am at the Holguin bus station fighting off the bici' taxi hustlers and painfully sit through the blasting of melodramatic Cuban love songs while I wait ´One hour in advance¨ and you turn up an hour late...I was not thrilled.
Yes, the ticket was only 11 dollars, but the overwhelming smell of piss that I´m pretty sure was coming from the water bottles left behind and the occasional cock roach sauntering down the window ledge made for a pretty grim trip.
I fear for you Viazul and more so for myself and the 16 hr trip back to Habana.
Please turn down bad vibe and turn up the heat and promise me it´s true that you are better than the train. God forbid, I may leave Santaigo as soon as I have arrive just because the only flight back leaves tonight.
