This is Gogol Bordello and they are my new obsession. Tagged as Gypsy Punks, my favorite description I have come across about them is "a bit like The Clash having a fight with The Pogues in Eastern Europe." From what I have heard- I would totally go along with it. They are manic, crazy, full of energy and the lyrics are funny.

Raised in the Gypsy camps of Romania after Chernobyl exploded, Eugene Hutz, eventually immigrated to the US. At some point he made his way to NYC, hooked up with the Bulgarian Bar and started DJ'ing (and for heaven sakes, if you are in NY- GO see the show). He banded together with other immigrants and "like minded people" and formed the raving mad Gogol Bordello.

Now- Don't waste any more time- go fall in love with Eugene Hutz just like this girl did.
