Not really a huge deal but Schmap Guides, decided to publish a photograph of I took of Pioneer Plaza in Dallas for their map guide. When I am a paid published photographer, then that would be something to sneeze at.

congrats, it's a great photo.
The published photos would come, you are a good photographer, except that you gave the rights to your photo away. By doing this organizations do not have to pay professional photographers, they simply surf the web and tell aspiring photographers that by being on their site they will get noticed. Of course there are so many good aspiring photographers that the market is becoming flooded by easy to get free high quality photographs.
