Inspired by Christine's post about planning a trip to NYC, I went back and looked at my photos. It was almost this time last year when I ran away to NY, didn't tell anyone where I was really going to visit with someone who turned out not to really care as much as I thought they did.

While it was sad and cold and rainy, I did explore the city a little bit more than I had before.

Highlights:

Christmas shop windows on 5th ave
Top of the Rock was open
fabled Tiffany's on 5th Ave and the little pendant bought that came in the iconic blue box and white ribbon
Realizations and revelations that while NY is fantastic and glorious, it does not contain a home for me.
