family bloopers

50's and 60's type music playing over the cafe sound system, I'm singing along when I know the words thanks to listening them on AM radio in my 69 valiant at the time.

her: How do you know the words to all of these songs?
me: My car's radio plays them all the time.
her: But from now right?
me: No, don't tell anyone but I drive a time machine. The car's from the 60's and it receives a radio signal from then too.
her: looks quizically for a second as if this had a possibility of being true.

5 years later....

him: What part of England are you from?
him 2: Birmingham.(mentions a few facts)
him 2: It also where land rovers come from.
her: That's some kind of animal right?
me: Yes. Like the Mercedes. It's a kind of bird.
