This day we have lived here 25 years. From the day we moved into that leaky grainary with 2 small children. It was rough."
These are the writings of my grandfather, Edwin, made when he was still alive and building a life and a family on the farm. Small poignant jots of memories penciled into the planks of wood that made up the walls of the old garage.

What a fabulous note to find! What history... I love it!
They're treasured. I've vowed to chop down the walls and take them if the farm is ever sold. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have some of them documented.
