in the home stretch

Day 8 is swell. Eating super healthy. Almond/ Cashew butter on rice cales with sliced apples is the new cakey muffin. Fresh vegetable juices are my new coffee. Lentil crackers with hummous is almost as good as raison bread with smoked cheddar. Wait a minute. Who am I trying to kid? Nothing will take the place of my beloved raison toast and applewood cheddar. Jeez. I just about lost myself for a moment.

Yesterdays inconsitencies have been replaced with a mantra..

It may comfort you to know that it's all a question of habit.
Where I come from, humus is the numero uno dish (although I suspect it is a much tastier version than what you'd be able to put your hands on in Canada), and cheddar cheese is just a lowlife's food.
As far as your food testing is concerned, having gone through a similar process myself I am definitely aware of just how much junk food - be it scones or a Big Mac - makes me feel like sh*t.
By now I also think it tastes the same as it makes me feel, so I'm really happy with the move.
